Event Description:
This October 4th, Community Homeless Solutions is holding its second annual signature event “Evening of Hope” at the eco-modern elegant Wave Street Studios in Monterey to raise awareness of domestic violence in our community. Guests will be able to hear from survivors of domestic violence, take part in awarding the Purple Ribbon Award to one of our community’s leaders and help raise funds through donations and an exclusive silent auction.
Guests will be able to taste different wines from 5 wineries; Scheid Vineyards, Blair Wines, De Tierra Vineyards, Cima Collina Winery and Reynolds Family Wines to pair with exquisite dinner tapas and sweets catered by one of the area’s best restaurants, Lalla Grill. Throughout the night as speakers take a break, the sounds of “musicians name” will fill the atmosphere.

About Community Homeless Solutions
Community Homeless Solutions is the largest nonprofit organization in Monterey County providing services to victims of domestic violence. In operation are two emergency shelters at confidential locations in the cities of Monterey and Salinas. The shelters serve single women, women with children, and men who are survivors of domestic violence.
Both shelters operate 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, and provide case management, counseling, food, clothing and linkages to other community services and resources. A domestic violence/crisis hot line is maintained by shelter staff who respond to emergency calls 24 hours per day.
